Historical Society

I was hired to design and execute a display for the Hill Historical Society. The project consisted of ten large panels, chronicling the rise of the town from the 1700's to the present. You'll see that each paragraph has an accompanying photograph. Obviously, the older content had no photos, so I created 'photos' using other images to tell the visual story, ie: referencing an early ferry across the Pemigewasset River, I used an old print of a river and added a ferryman to it, complete with rippling water and reflections.

Here are a couple views of the finished project. This display also was to be portable, so that the town fathers could transport it to schools and other towns.
